Collaboration, research, and sharing resources are key to our mission. Many of our initiatives are conducted on behalf of and/or in partnership with others—including the federal government, NGOs, other academic institutions, and philanthropic foundations. We are always open to and invite new collaborations. Please contact us if interested in partnering to support, preserve, and enhance the nation’s working waterfronts.
A Note on the Fiscal Management of NWWN:
NWWN is an informal network with central funds hosted by the Coastal States Stewardship Foundation (CSSF). Partnership with NWWN may done through contracts with CSSF or through contracts with a specific member of the NWWN and their home-organization/institution. Indirect rates and other costs will vary depending on the partnership arrangement. In those cases where NWWN is the funder (through CSSF), indirect costs are not allowed as part of the budget.
