Description: The TAA for Farmers program helps producers of raw agricultural commodities and fishermen adjust to import competition through technical assistance and cash benefits. Commodity eligibility is determined by the following: either demonstrating greater than a 15 percent decline compared to the average of the three preceding marketing years in one or more of national average price, quantity of production, value of production or cash receipts, or that increased imports contributed significantly to this decline.
