Description: Over the next two years Southampton will prepare a Waterfront Protection Program to improve management of the Town’s coastal environment and economy. The Program will be a land and water use plan and strategy for meeting the community’s goals for its natural, public, working, or developed waterfront. It will be implemented through the Town’s administrative practices, local laws, and capital projects, along with improved coordination and cooperation between the agencies responsible for managing the coast.
