Pre-conference training:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will be holding a training session, “Estimating the Local Marine Economy” on February 3rd, 2025 prior to the conference start date in San Diego, CA. Participants will learn how to describe the coastal and marine economy for your community using economic data and local knowledge, identify industries vulnerable to coastal hazards, and tell a compelling story with economic data and information for your community.

Field Trips:
As part of the conference, there will be a half day field trip on Wednesday, February 5th, open to all attendees. More details will be provided soon.
